About Bethany

Bethany Heinesh is a professional writer who focuses her work on mental health advocacy. She has a Master of Arts in Administration-Communication Arts from the University of the Incarnate Word and a B.A. in Public Relations with a Minor in Religious Studies from the University of Houston. She is also a proud Marine Corps veteran.

Bethany was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type 2 when she was 27 years old, although it took several years for her to come to terms with her illness and begin treating it. She believes recovery is possible for all those who struggle with mental health issues.

Bethany considers it an honor and a great privilege to be able to share her experience, strength, and hope with those who are working through their own healing process and searching for the light. She encourages all those who have a mental health diagnosis to keep fighting the good fight.

Bethany currently lives in San Antonio, Texas and invites anyone who visits The Alamo City to meet her for a Starbucks just to chat.
